A public art installation produced in response to
Covid 19’s affect on our lives.
In situ from 2020 - present.
This is a reminder that Covid 19 ripped our lives to shreds and of the things that survived like our love. It got stronger despite the separation the virus forced on us. You continued to love me in ways that did not include your touch. Then came the plastic kiss that felt like a tiny explosion. And in that moment, we knew the fabric of our lives would never be the same.
(Words inspired by events that took place, during the height of the pandemic, between the artist and her boyfriend.)
