The "Fabric of our Lives" is an art installation that first exhibited with Art in Place from July 14 to Aug. 23, 2020. The Instillation was produced by the artist to show in real time how the effects of COVID 19 affected our lives. It continued in situ until the pandemic was officially over.
The sidewalk installation (Being 2022) allows the viewer to walk through the timeline of how the original installation came to be. And gives hope to those who walk past for a future that involves kindness, love and safety. After viewing the sidewalk installation the viewer can walk to the entrance of 727 Seward. Once there, if they look up at the windows of the 3rd floor, they can see the original installation(as of March 2024 the instillation is not longer in situ because of the degradation over time from the environmental elements and the end of the pandemic). Pictures of the installation can be seen on this website under the tab, The Fabric of Our Lives.
(sidewalk installation was viewable by the public between September 1 — October 15, 2022)
